The Lenovo IdeaPad Y550P boasts of being a next generation laptop. The reason for this is that it uses Intel’s latest offering, the Core i7 processor. The Y550P runs at 1.6 GHz and implements the 220QM variant. In order for this performance to run unhindered, it has at least 8 GB of RAM. Running multiple programs that uses a lot of memory is a cinch with the Y550P. So whether you’re planning to use it for business, multimedia or games, the Y550P has the necessary specifications that will allow you to easily do all this.

Adding the Nvidia Geforce 240M graphics card with the RAM, you have a laptop that makes 3D rendering possible without a hitch. Despite the power of the Nvidia GeForce graphics card and Core i7 processor, the Y550P has a limited resolution at 1366×768.
CONCLUSION
So does the Lenovo IdeaPad Y550P make the cut? The simple answer is, yes it does. It can do what any desktop can. With the Lenovo IdeaPad Y550P, you can store a large amount of files, watch high definition movies and process 3D graphics easily. With all these features, the price of $1,399 comes across as a bargain.
